For over 30 years, the Moussa Foundation has been dedicated to empowering children and families in Deirmimas, a small village of the biblical Northern Galilee. Our journey began with Ibrahim and Aziza Moussa, who deeply valued education and were committed to providing resources to their beloved, underserved community.
Following the passing of Ibrahim and Aziza in 2002, their family members honored their legacy by establishing the Moussa Foundation. Our mission is to uplift local children who demonstrate academic promise. Today, we provide scholarships that not only help children start their educational journeys but also ensure they can continue their studies. In partnership with schools, colleges, orphanages, churches, convents, monasteries, and children’s hospitals, we offer vital financial support to families in need.
To date, the Moussa Foundation has awarded over 300 scholarships. Our recipients have gone on to achieve remarkable success, becoming doctors, lawyers, and engineers, with degrees from prestigious institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, American University of Beirut, and the University of Michigan. Their accomplishments stand as a powerful testament to the impact of generosity and the transformative potential of education.
The Moussa Foundation is a proud non-profit organization, committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.
