The Moussa Foundation is a council of family and community members from Deir Mimas, South Lebanon. We grew up here, or our parents did — and we believe the village's best days are not behind it. Our work is simple: keep possibilities alive. We fund students through university, invest in businesses that create local jobs, and back the everyday projects that make village life work. We measure ourselves by one thing — whether a young person from Deir Mimas has more open doors this year than last.
We envision a future where every child in Deirmimas has access to quality education and the resources needed to thrive. Our holistic approach goes beyond the classroom, aiming to enhance the overall well-being of the community through various initiatives.
Our mission is to uplift local children who demonstrate academic promise. Today, we provide scholarships that not only help children start their educational journeys but also ensure they can continue their studies. In partnership with schools, colleges, orphanages, churches, convents, monasteries, and children’s hospitals.

To date, the Moussa Foundation has awarded over 300 scholarships. Our recipients have gone on to achieve remarkable success, becoming doctors, lawyers, and engineers, with degrees from prestigious institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, American University of Beirut, and the University of Michigan.
